Part of a series meditating on the temporality as relating to material objects/process. Social media is simultaneously timeless while also clearly dating itself the moment it is conceptualized. When juxtaposed with more ' hands-on' craft which requires time and physical connection to the image, there is an interesting conversation between the imagery and the material. The process of embroidering necessitates a certain amount of forethought and connection when it comes to the subject matter. When an image originally intended to be engaged with briefly is translated to a labor-intensive material, a new meaning is acquired.
